DOG LICENSES – Expires December 31st for the current year. Licensing requires current rabies and spayed/neutered certificate, if applicable. $6.00 fee for spay/neutered dog, $11.00 if not spayed/neutered.
Mercantile Partnerships and Assumed Business Names – $10.00 fee
Whenever two more persons become associated as partners, or otherwise, for the purpose of engaging in any mercantile enterprise they must, before beginning business, file a certificate in the City Clerk’s Office.
Business under Assumed Name – Sole Proprietor – Filing of Certificate – $10.00 fee
Whenever any person intends to engage in such business as sole proprietor thereof, and to adopt any business name, style or designation other than their own name exclusively, they shall, before commencing business, deposit in the Office of the City Clerk a certificate signed and sworn to by them, setting forth their name and place of residence, the name, style or designation under which the business is to be conducted, and stating that they are the sole proprietor.

LIQUOR LICENSE – In addition to the fee for the State Liquor License there is a $10.00 local application fee. Licenses are issued by the State but approved by Municipal Officers. Public Hearing required for first time application. Actual public notice costs are to be prepaid by applicant.
SPECIAL AMUSEMENT – Music, dancing, entertainment where liquor is served – expiration coincides with that of Liquor License Public Hearing and $30.00 fee plus publication costs on new applications.
