Rudy, Merry, Tater, North, Spruce, and Holly are hiding in Caribou businesses—and they need you to find them!

As part of Christmas Comes to Caribou, 25 local businesses are hosting hidden Christmas characters. Pick up a free Adventure Book at The City of Caribou Municipal Building, the Caribou Public Library, the Caribou Recreation Center, or a participating special event. Then visit the businesses listed in your book and start searching.

When you spot a character, look for the card displayed with it. In your Adventure Book, record the business, the character you found, and the unique code on its card. You can visit the businesses in any order, and staff do not need to stamp or sign your book.

Find all six different characters to earn the 2026 Christmas in Caribou signature ornament. Ornaments will be available for pickup by the first 400 participants at the Holiday Market in Lyndon Square on Small Business Saturday, November 28.

Want to keep exploring? Your book has room for 18 business visits. Reaching additional hunt milestones will earn entries into our Christmas Comes to Caribou prize drawing for a TV and a Fire Tablet.

Please search during each business’s public hours, stay in customer-accessible areas, and leave the characters and cards where you find them. No purchase is required. Have fun meeting the whole Christmas crew and discovering Caribou businesses along the way!
