The City of Caribou Fire and Ambulance Department
The City of Caribou, Fire and Ambulance Department, is seeking a highly motivated and customer service minded individual to join our team of public safety professionals. We respond to over 2,700 calls for service annually providing advanced life support EMS treatment & transport as well as full-service fire suppression, rescue and education services to the citizens and visitors to our community. We are currently accepting applications for an immediate opening in a Firefighter/Paramedic position.
Paramedic Firefighters & Firefighter/EMTs
Our full-time staff is covered under a collective bargaining agreement which includes a competitive wage rate and an excellent benefits package including a 25 year, no age limit, retirement plan. Minimum requirements include: HS diploma or GED equivalent; Interior Structural Firefighter Certification or equivalent – Firefighter I & II preferred; completion of State certified AVOC/EVOC class preferred; EMT-B license (EMT-P preferred).
