Location of project: Caribou Steam Plant ~ 142 Lower Lyndon Street ~ Caribou, Maine
Attached is the Request of Bids (RFB) to remove hazardous substances and/or petroleum products (HSPP) along with aboveground storage tanks (ASTs), transformers, and various types of HSPP-containing equipment in the Steam Plant. We decided not to include removal of the 3 large transformers in this RFB since those transformers contain silicone oil (non-PCBs) and their removal from the building will have to be done concurrent with demolition.

The City Council is expected to approve these construction documents at their March 16 meeting so this project can be put out to bid.
