Meet Trudy, our 2025 Dog License Drawing winner! 🐾 A 10-year-old Husky mix owned by Claire Randolph, Trudy is here to remind all Caribou dog owners that 2025 dog licenses expire December 31.
Maine law requires all dogs to be licensed after 6 months of age or within 10 days of ownership. Renewals for the upcoming year are available starting October 15.
How to Renew:
• In person: City Clerk’s Office, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm (bring current Maine rabies certificate + spay/neuter proof)
• By mail: Send documents + payment to City Clerk’s Office, 25 High Street, Caribou, ME 04736
• Online: Scan the QR code in the image to renew online for an additional fee
Fees:
• $6 – spayed/neutered
• $11 – not spayed/neutered
• A $25 late fee begins February 1
